so i have the latest version of installer.

here is what happens, told in third person.

Chort opens installer, wondering what great apps he can install today. He waits forever for the sources to refresh, and sees a little red "2" on update. The first is iPhysics. Version 1.1. Chort installs iPhysics. Great! Chort goes back into installer. But OH NO! iPhsyics is still in update screen. But this time, it's version 1.0. So Chort installs version 1.0 from update. All is working fine, but Chort goes back into installer. iPhsyics 1.1 is under update now. Chort tries to install, but gets a package download failed error. The rest of installer works fine. Chort restarts to springboard, but now iPhsyics is COMPLETELY gone! Chort trys to update and uninstall it, but gets a Package Download Failed error again. So chort ssh connects to his ipod. It's not in applications directory. So chort reinstalls iPhysics from iSpazio, and tries to update it. Package download failed, iphysics is gone again. Chort needs to know what to do.

Now you're thinking "oh but chort said there were TWO things in update. The other one is an update for the Chocolate Rain Theme. Chort updates this, it downloads and works. He gets a notice that says "Update: Added Music and Videos icons for iPod Touch users". Great. It updates and works. But now Chort has a new thing under update. "apple style batteries". So chort installs that. But now, chocolate rain is back!!!! Chort installs that and apple style batteries comes back. What to do?

    Thanks.

    i had problems too.
i ended up uninstalling iphysics, then cleared out the cache from safari.
it installed iphysics 1.1 fine after that.

    hope this helps

Clearing out you're iPods safari cache? What would that do?

Unless I'm misunderstanding. Plus I can't uninstall iPhysics, because it's not in the /root/applications/ folder and it says i get an error when i hit uninstall.

I managed to uninstall, but when I reinstalled version 1.1.1 it still has an update for 1.0.1... and guess what happens when I installt that? You guessed it! An update for 1.1.1 appears!
