Eventually, this is pretty much going to be a full game engine.

    -GL rendering
    -on screen points scoreboard
-up to 5!!! finger presses at once with full-tracking! (thanks r4m0n)
    -full working physics and collisions
-advanced button system (make movable objects buttons!)
-attachable 'rockets' with on screen booster controls..
-sound system on all targets and button presses
-Upload high score, and on-line name tracking
    -and more!

I lay in bed at night, and my mind swarms with the possibilities..

    - Trivia games with on-screen answer buttons
    - 'Find the differences' games, with hidden buttons under the 'differences'
    - 'Choose your own adventure' type stories...
    - 'Destroy moving objects with your finger' games
    - 'Arkanoid' type games
    - 2D side scrolling games (see Moos new project)
    - booster rocket games (get rocket from point a to b)
    - Destroyable user ball (think Labyrinth, but you can't hit the walls)
    - 2 player iHockey type games.. every sport could be made.
    - 'memory' games
    - 'block slide' type games

    - and so many more... anyone else think what we can do with this engine?

Also, in light of the recent 'Labyrinth' fiasco, I say, we all should do what we can to donate to r4m0n.

He is set up on Paypal, and I'm sure he would appreciate even a $5.00 donation.

Wow. My mind boggles. I would donate, but seeing as I'm 13, don't have a touch, and have no means of paying... I can't.

Have you ever had the chance to play iPhysics? Do you have a job? Get a paper route, and you could have one in a month or two...

iPhysics is amazing. Sometimes it impresses me even more than the PSX and GBA emulators. I can't believe just a few months ago iPhysics was an accelerometer based demo that hoped to grow up to be a simple clone.

EDIT: Rawd, is level making complicated? How long did it take you to learn?

    holy fudgesicles!!!

see, now i believe something like THAT is worth donating a few bucks for...

gimme a week or so to set-up a paypal account and i'll send in a few buckaroo's....

definitely worth it IMO, i play it like 20 minutes a day...

Anyone know if r4m0n is still developing this? It seems like it's an unusually long time between updates, or is he taking a break, or working on a huge update?

But like everyone, we were all busy around Christmas time. Everything I said in the first post is being worked on by r4m0n.

I kinda wondered why he hasn't gotten my PM yet.

I guess I'll wait 'til he shows up here again. I had a few suggestions (none listed in your OP) that I hope to see in future versions that would really blow the whole game engine wide open. (Omni-scrolling, object destruction/creation, etc.) I have seen this game turn into a pretty impressive engine even now, and it seems like it was headed in a direction that would make it a great construction-kit type engine. In fact, eventually if he could allow users to spin off their levels into stand-alone executables it would make it ideal for just that.
