    Hey everyone,

My dad wants to buy my mom an unlocked iPhone, but he has a few worries. We live in Indonesia but will soon be moving back to the Netherlands. If he buys an unlocked iPhone here (in Indonesia), will it work in another country as well? I understand the provider will need to be changed, but I'm not sure how it works. 3G would not be an important factor. I'm fairly certain it would work, but I'd like to hear some opinions from you.

    Thanks

since it is factory unlocked, it should work with out a problem

BUT keep in mind that certain providers have incompatible bandwidth or whatever is it called (but i am sure there are at-least one or two providers that are fully compatible with the iphone network) in netherlands
