iPhones 4g LCD screen project on iPod touch

    So since my iPod touch warranty ran out the day after it cracked I will be buying the iPhones 4g crystal clear screen and attempt to attach it to my iPod touch, please give me some advice and tell me if you are sure this will work or not work

    It's a different size so it won't work.

    Other mounting brackets may no be compatible or the touch sensor

    yeah, i assume that the electrical connections will be different and the hardware that runs the retina display isn't present in the ipt 2g.
    But if u wanna try it, go ahead. You'll look like a genius if it works.

    It'd be real cool if it did work however I highly doubt it just because the iOS for ipod touches was not written to support that resolution. It would be just as pixilated if you could get the display connected.

    yeah ios is special for the iPhone 4, for you it would still be low res.
