Is it possible to view files from your 1.1.3 official iPod touch with apps (for those that purchased them)?

If so, can't you simply extract the contents of the maps.app folder so we can have access to the new features?

Someone who has the official firmware please try this; I can easily update my 1.1.2 jailbroken iPod touch with this... with SHH turned off!

God I hate when people do this as it's only been about 20 mins but... bump.

I'm impatient and am curious if anyone else has tried this. Just need to see if the application can be extracted.

At this time you can't SSH into a non-Jailbroken 1.1.3 iPod Touch to get the apps yet.

This doesn't use SSH! I posted in the initial comment that I can go through the contents of my device with SSH turned off!

As a further confirmation, I can get into my iPod touch with SSH off as well.

works for me. you can even put files on the iPod. i will try putting a .app there.

Edit: tried out Weather.app into the //Applications folder, did not work.
