I have an iPhone 3gs jailbroken 3.1.3. I dropped it the other day and it turned off. It wouldn't turn back on until i plugged it into a computer. If I unplugged it the iPhone would turn off. It turned on and it let me unplug it and use it. Whenever I drop it even on grass or something it turns off and won't turn back on until I plug it into a computer. So I dropped it yesterday and it turned off. It turned back on. Then I dropped it again like 10 minutes later It wouldn't turn on. I plugged it into a car charger and it turned on and I got the connect to iTunes screen/Emergency Call Screen. Then I plugged it into my computer and it was stuck at the apple logo. I tried to restore in DFU and Recovery mode. I get error 1611. I have read a lot of solutions, but they don't work. Can someone help me please?

It's obviously hardware. Your phone dropping skills have failed you.

As jmwerkus said, it's pretty obvious it's hardware.

apple said i would have to pay $200 for a new one because a pin what sticking out in the dock connector that should have been. I took the phone home and bent the pin back into place with a screw drive i think. then i took it to apple and they gave me a new one free.
