Ok so its been a week now that my iPhone 3G started to malfunction. Touch screen not working right. When i touch the screen it detects the touch somewhere else. And keep it on hold. I tried taking off my screen protecter to see if that was the problem but nope. Im not jailbroken. I have restored a couple times back to 3.1.3 and still not working. iPhone has not had contact with any liquids. I don't know what the problem is. Anyone have any ideas of what the problem would be?

Well i have dropped it on the street once but it just scratched up the back, and it was long ago. Until this month it started having these problems.

Nope, Im very careful with my iphone. Although, i did let my brother in law borrow it for a couple days maybe he must have damaged it. Other than that its just the screen.

Maybe your brother in law dropped it and didn't tell you? Or sat on it or something that would cause this problem.
