iPhone Temperature Warning?

    Ever had this show up on your iPhone before? Nope? Neither had I. But then ‘Jeff’, on his Flickr, posted the above screenshot with the caption:

    “Don’t sit next to a pool in Scottsdale Arizona when it’s 104 degrees or your iphone will melt away!
    So how to fix it fast? I put the iphone betwwen 2 cold beers and it worked! “

    And now after some research, Anon from theiphoneblog.com found out that it is actually true and is posted on Apple Knowledge Base.

    "Operate iPhone 3G in a place where the temperature is between 0º and 35º C (32º to 95º F). Low- or high-temperature conditions might temporarily shorten battery life or cause iPhone 3G to temporarily stop working properly."
