iPhone software 2.2 beta sports UI tweaks; no push

    if its jusr UI fixes then I think im gonna stick with 2.1 its not worth the hassle for a few buttons to be moved about, now if they fix the laggy music issue with safari then I would probably upgrade

    I don't see how the minor UI tweaks are worth a whole new version number. At least 2.1 was timed to coincide with the 2g release and had major bug fixes with regards to the phone stack.

    It's only Beta 1 release so who knows what the final outcome will be but that's it for now. I don't have any jailbroken devices at this time so no big deal to update.

    Landscape sms'ing is also something I'm eager to see happen soon.
    Sure, there won't be as much textarea visibile as with portrait mode, but still, I'd rather have a larger keyboard. It just types a hella lot smoother.
