What should i use to start making apps and games? I want something that can make 2D and 3D games(I love platformers and I want to make one.)

BTW, IT HAS TO WORK FOR IPOD TOUCHES TOO. I HAVE AN IPOD TOUCH.

You could use the official SDK.

But the official one works only on Mac OS X Leopard, isn't it?

ooh :-( How does developers create apps if they don't have Mac?

Also the apps/hacks and Plugins from Cydia?

Because the creator from Jaadu has create a remote Control App and his tutorial videos are with Windows Vista.
So how did he create the Jaadu without Mac?

I use Windows. And im only 14 so i dont make enough money to get Mac. My computer sucks and the Official SDK only works for mac? If so, I can't do it. D:

Unless i use the toolchain. But is the toolchain simple? I'm jsut a beginner at iphone/ipod touch developing.

And I did a restore to my touch first gen cuz i hate Jailbreak. I'm not doing it again. Installer wouldnt load. Cydia would. So, i wanna make somehting i can have on second Gen.

What really is the toolchain? Can i use a viewer like some enviroments i used for the PC game creation(what i mean by viewer is i can see what im doing. not jsut adding crap and coding.)
