i have a jailbroken 3g iphone. the problem is that it wont charge.
-im pretty sure its not the battery because the battery life has been good and it died gradually, not spontaneous.
-its not the USB because the same USB charges my sister ipod. it works on my laptop as well as the wall plug

that said, Geek Squad from best buy wont fix it becuase "its more expensive than to buy a new one"
Is there another store that can fix it?
If i ship it to apple, they fix it and see its jailbroken, what can happen?
    wats my best bet?

You can restore and apple won't know its jailbroken. If your in the warranty send it to apple, if your not no use.

If you are still within your 1 year warranty provided by Apple, or have extended warranty for your iPod touch through AppleCare, you can send it in and get a new replacement battery put inside.

I have tmobile. I bought it off craigslist, so I don't have warranty.

I believe the dock is what is broken, so I can't restore it.

I'm pretty sure it's the phone dock that is the problem because it won't charge or won't do anything.

Are they like local or do I have to send it in?
