Do any of the carriers in Aussie use a Sim Card? If so, just unlock your device and put the sim card in and you're home free

You can do this with many things. iJailbreak (For Mac), ZiPhone or iLiberty (Win & Mac)

For more advanced users: PwnageTool (Mac) & WinPWN (Windows)

Yes Sir. Just plug it in and select Unlock. You can Jailbreak too if you want.

May I ask what Operating system you use?

Do you mean Mac OS X? But anyway. Yes, just plug in your iPhone and click "Unlock"

Are you buying a Used iPhone or a fresh one?

My dad actually wanted the iPhone for himself.. he was gonna buy it in America when we were over there but he asked about this and they said that it wouldnt work in aussie.. so he didnt bother buying it.. But now that you can unlock the phones and ipods he was actually kinda peeved off that he didnt get one so hes probably getting one brand new

Ahh yes good good. If you're getting it new, it'll have the Wiggles and the January App pack as you asked in another thread.

But if I were you I'd hold off till After June 9 - 13 because that is when a WWDC (World Wide Developer Conference) from Apple is happening. They're bringing in new things like a new iPhone model! 3G + More features!
