I am on an adventure to prove that the iphone can be unlocked for CDMA networks...I know, I know that it is physically impossible using software and programming due to different hardware...but is there any possible way to actually physically modify the hardware.... http://www.iphonefreak.com/2007/06/iphon... ...at this link there are pictures of an iphone (1st gen) disassembled. You can also see on the site the picture of the SIM card reader. Basically I want to know if there is a way or a rumor of a way to actually modify the reader...or remove it and add something in place of it that will enable it to work on a non SIM based network (CDMA) such as Verizon or Sprint
