iphone programs

    I've got Mail, Maps, Notes, Stocks, and Weather installed and working. Once I did the chmod on /Applications... that was the only bit missing first time around. Thanks.

    Edit: used the demonoid iphone 1.1.1 filesystem.

    it still isnt working for me i downloaded the 1.1.1 iphone apps and copied the frameworks files and preference bundles files and copied all the .app folders into the applications folder on my ipod touch using WinSCP but whenever i try to open one of the apps it just hangs...

    Hey I followed the instructions, I left out the mail app which seems to be crashing for alot of people but I added maps, notes, weather. The maps opens for about 3 seconds then crashes is there anything extra I should have added to it or with it? The other two work perfectly fine.

    for those of you having problems with GMM and Mail please attach a screenshot of those two folders for me.

    Make sure they don't have extra directories. Usually that is what causes the crash.

    Works perfectly but i'm not sure how to change the city in weather appl. Can anyone tell me more?

    I just copied them over to the right places mentioned using the really easy drag and drop 'CuteFTP Professional' - then once I'd copied them, open the folders, select all, right click and change the permission number from 644 to 755.

    Presto, working apps.
