Is there any chance to instal 4.0 firmware on IPT3G having dev signature on it but nothing else?

I worl in company with Iphone developers.
They were takingmy device in past to test something on it.
So my device is still signed.
I have a Dev profile signature active till 26-th of June.
As far as i understand they used udid of my device and signed it on their Dev profile?
So can i use it to put 4.0 on device?

You mean without having your UDID activated on a developer's account? Nope, it'll brick your iPod.

You can try, as long as it's still activated on their account.

    What you mean by "brick"?
How could they sign my device without adding my UDID on their account?

Can it break my device somehow? If something goes wrong?

Well, if they took your iPod to 'test' stuff, then they can just activate your UDID..

There's no way to brick an iPod or iPhone. You can always restore. Always.
