    True. The hardware could interfere with the jailbreak.

    Just think of it like this: You want the least amount of variables. Hardware difference is a variable, even if it is emulating the software.
    He will probably wait until he can get an iPad, just to be sure. But that could still be April 3rd (if he pre-ordered/ reserved one).
