Here's basically some points on what happened at the iPhone OS 3.0 keynote.

    -Peer-to-peer apps
    -Pairing with accessories.
    -Medic Services
-Embed Maps API into apps (totally usable in devs apps -- pinch, zoom, etc)
-Turn-by-turn directions apps (using your own Maps)
-PUSH NOTIFICATIONS! (Running in background lowers battery by 80%, so push is the closest we get)
-New API for streaming audio/video. New API for in-game voice
-(demoing Meebo for 3.0) (Apparently, push notification was necessary for Meebo)
-(demoing SIMS 3 for iPhone!!!) (Buy Sims items in real money... good or bad?)
-(still demoing SIMS 3) (your music plays in game)
    -(demoing Oracle)
-(showing ESPN app) (Gives pop-ups whenever a team scores/wins)
(App has player which changes video to size viewable)
-(showing LifeScan app which checks blood pressure)
    -ngmoco

    is up. ROLANDO 2??? No.
-(Shows demo of Touch Pets) Has in-game REAL MONEY purchases
-(Shows LiveFire-First person shooter) I was hoping for Rolando 2.
Right now, I'd say Apple just wants money. This is not version 3.0 to me. It should be 2.3. Something good better come quick.
    -Smule is up
    (Demoing Leaf Trombone: World Stage)
    -CUT COPY AND PASTE!
    -(Demoing cut copy and paste)
Kevin Rose was right with Copy and Paste and the magnifying bubble that goes over text
-Send more than one photo at a time
    -Landscape in all major apps
    -Forward/Delete multiple messages
    -MMS!!!!!!
    -Add contacts/locations from a text/message
    -Voice memos
    -Calendars - CalDAV and Subscriptions
-News stories and landscape for Stocks
-Search in all KEY APPS-Calendar, iPod, Notes, etc.
-SPOTLIGHT searches your home screen and apps
    -Sync Notes, Shake to shuffle

INSERT FROM GIZMODO: "Notes Sync, audio/video tags, live streaming, shake to shuffle, Wi-Fi auto login, Stereo Bluetooth, LDAP, iTunes account creation, YouTube ratings, Anti-Philshing, Call Log, Parental Controls, Media Scrubber, OTA profiles, VPN on demand, Languages, YouTube subscriptions, YouTube accounts and Encrypted profiles. Sorry, thats true. I thought this could be the confirmation thread. So, people who didn't see the video or be on iPTF, could see the updates.
