    so i just went to iphonelinux.org and what exactly does it do? if anyone knows..

    I'm pretty sure it's just the title of his website.

    Basically the website is just for programs.

    If you don't know, what you're talking about, don't post. I'm pretty sure that iPhoneLinux is a project similar to iPodLinux.org, iPodLinux.org made it possible to run Linux on iPods, such as iPod Video, Photo or even older models. So you had two systems on one iPod and by pressing the power-up button longer or shorter, you could choose, in which one you wanted to boot. With Linux on the iPod you had a lot more possibilities, for example on iPod Photo you could watch AVI-videos, with iPod Video you were able to run a GB-emulator and so on.
