any people from Poland who can help me?

I going to Warsaw this weekend and some friends has told me that you can buy unlocked iPhone 3G in Poland, but Apples list says they are locked.
I read online that they can unlock it in the store when you buy it?

Any one has first hand information if it's possible?

Finally someone from Poland here =) (unless you're just going there for something like holidays). I heared something that iPhones from Era are unlocked when you buy them. But I don't really know, because I personaly own an iPod Touch (and sorry for not saying it in Polish, but we can talk here only in English).

No I'm from Sweden but my girlfriends family and relatives live in Warsaw. (But they are to old to know anything about iPhones).

We are going to visit them and I have heard that some iPhones are unlocked. I'm going to check with Era.

I am not from Poland but according to Apple both Era and Orange offer unlock options.

    Couple of links:
    Orange
    Era

Also, while you are in Warsaw you might want to look at Craigslist.
