    Hi all,

I am having trouble finding a simple answer to a question before I rush out and buy an iPhone.

I want to know if I plug the iPhone into my computer (OSX, Win, Ubuntu) whether the iPhone will be detected as a disk drive that I can then copy music and videos to via drag n drop or what ever?

Or can you only copy music and videos to the iPhone via syncing it with iTunes?

I have a feeling from what I read that I am not going to be able to drag music over to the iPhone from PC and that I will have to use the sync method for copying my files to the iPhone.

Was hoping someone could clear this matter up for me?

    Many thanks,

    DrP.
