iphone crash 5 sec after boot

    I was just putting some apps in categories folders when all the sudden my iphone just turned off, and now every time i try to turn it back on it turns back off in like 5 seconds after i see the apple logo. any ideas on a fix?

    Well, if you're willing to lose all your data and have to re-sync it all, then I'd suggest a DFU Restore (google it or search it here). You'll be left with a blank iPod, but it'll be a working blank iPod.

    If you're not willing to...I'm really not sure what can be done here. Perhaps your battery's out of juice? Try plugging it into an outlet (not your computer) and see what happens after a few minutes.

    At the end of the day, if you can't figure it out, just restore. It's usually simpler than the alternatives, especially with a weird problem.

    is there a way to ssh into it 1st to save files?

    If you can't even turn it on, then no.
    Plus, everything should be backed up on your computer like apps and music etc. All you'll need to do is redownload cydia applications (if your iPhone is jailbroken).
