iPhone can use VoIPVoIP's service with Fring or Nimbuzz, how about an iPod Touch?

I put my question on the iPod Touch/iPhone thread because the iPhone is compatible but the iPod Touch remains untested by the service provider, voipvoip.com (by Kosmaz Technologies LLC).

I have an iPod Touch 3.1 and want to use this service because it offers a reasonable pay-as-you go (with a virtual phone # & 'virtual' payment card - no SIM needed) option over cellular for when there is no internet access.

My question is whether anyone has experience with VoIPVoIP.com, and if so, what device do they use it with? I'd also like opinions if I'm completly off base in trying it out for myself on an iPod Touch? My iPod Touch isn't jailbroken & I'd like to keep it that way. I have a good VoIP arrangement on it already, but nothing for when there's no WiFi. The easiest answer is to buy an iPhone instead, but that's out of the question for now!
