When you send your phone in for replacement, do they replace the whole phone, or only the battery?
They usually send you a refurbished phone and then fix your phone and give it to somebody else.
Thank you for the quick reply.
its that true? holy crap i can't believe it... i thought they will change the battery (just the battery)..
its quicker if they just send you a new one, then put it in a queue to be fixed, so there is always a supply of fixed phones and ones to be fixed rather than having to sit and wait for your phone to be personally fixed. Probably very hard for Apple to maintain that you get YOUR phone back as well with the amount of repairs that they get in.
So If my iphone which is not on contract(bought online) and is currently using a t-mobile sim on pay as you go gets damaged, would I be able to send it to apple to be fixed? or do they only fix phones that are only on contract?
No, as long as your phone is an authentic apple one, they will fix it if it is in warranty...
How can you check how long the warranty is left? I bought it online from someone brand new on amazon
I am pretty sure there is a thing on the Apple website where you can run the serial code through it and it will tell you.
