My battery goes about 30% down every night if it's not charging. I don't know why but it's kinda weird. I don't have any apps running in the background except Phone and Mail. I have a jailbroken 3.1.2 3GS. It's not that big of a deal for me since I usually charge it over night.

ANy mobile substrates running? Location Sevices? Fetching E-Mail alot? Brightness? Those all contribute to battery drain.

Location services is on, fetch is on(though not fetching for some reason), brightness is at half, and to mobile substrate(according to SBSettings):IBNAccess, PreferenceLoader, ReflectiveDock ,RotationInhibitor, SBRotator, StatusNotifier, WinterBoard and libhide.

well you can turn off IBNAccess and PreferenceLoader when your not using it. You can lower the brightness down since its night. You can turn off Location Services until you need em.

Why lower brightness if screen is off anyways? Also what uses IBNAccess?

thanks for the info, maybe I'll just use safe mode over night, or get some of those profilers in Cydia to turn things off over night.
