    Hi,

I've just followed the guide for installing the iPhone apps on the iPod Touch but they aren't working.... when I click the icon the app seems to load, freeze and then just exits back to the menu again. Does anyone have any Idea's as to what I've done wrong?

    Cheers

They're definately in the right place mate... or at least I'm pretty sure they are, but I didn't change the permissions as I'd presumed WS_FTP would do that for me.... no Idea why

Yep it was the permissions cheers mate... altough they were set to 755 in WS-FTP I used putty to forces them on the whole applications folder and it's now working.... nice one

Yep, you have to make sure that whatever program you are using applies permissions recursively otherwise it won't work. It does you no good if the folder itself is 755 but the files inside are not

OK Maybe I missed something, but "permissions"??? I used iJailbreak and didn't set anything specifically to modify this.
Have I done or "not done" something.
All of my apps are working, except for a buggy safari every now and then.
    Thanks,
    Rick
Also, going to start another question/thread about the calendar fix, but if you can tell me how to fix, it would be appreciated.
