But it doesn't matter since BIOS updates have allowed a fix.

Yeah and I don't think it had anything to do with windows 7. It was a problem with Intel's new P55 motherboard.

i think this is actually on Windows 7 more. 2 months ago, i was playing game on my iPT. it got slower so i rebooted. gave me Connect to iTunes logo on my 2G iPT. so i was at my frens, connected my iPT to his HP AMD laptop running Win7 and it was like no connectivity. even DFU didn't work. atleast DFU mode was detected when he was running Vista on the same machine. So far i've no issues with my own Intel chipset laptop with Win7. so i say it's not only with Intel... it's more with Win7.

i have an iphone 3g 16gb, a iphone 3gs 16gb and an ipodtouch 8gb, i have used all of them on my pc which has a i7 skt1156 p55 mobo using windows 7, ive also used them on my previous pc which was a core2quad skt775 p45 mobo running windows 7 rc2 and also have a old athlon x2 4800 nforce4 mobo using vista ultimate. All setups have worked perfectly in all modes. I have also jailbroken all 3 devices on all 3 setups again without any problems.
I guess some people just have no luck.

Does it honestly matters? I prefer people to use correct spelling. It will help them along the way.

And no my iPod works perfectly.
