Ok so yesterday i jailbreak my iPhone 4 FW 4.0 and had everything working.. downloaded a whole bunch of stuff custimized everything and what not.

So today i decide to update to 4.0.1 and now when i go to jailbreakme.com, all it does is last 1 sec downloading and the moment it says "Jailbreaking sit tight" safari crashes and brings me back home.. idk what to do.. i restarted my phone several times.. closed all other apps running and nothing =[

    Plz help

For future reference, never 'update' a jailbroken device in iTunes. I believe BigBoss has a guide on how to properly do it, somewhere.

you can update a jailbroken device; it's just not as clean with the var/stash stuff that moves ringtones, applications, etc... To the large partition

I had the same problem, you have to put it in DFU mode and update, then rejailbreak, sorry bud.
