Iphone 4 vs ipod touch 4g

    Ok so I wanna know exactly what the iphone has the ipod doesnt.

    the actual phone
    gps along with compass
    proximity sensor

    is that it?

    People are saying steve jobs didnt mention vibration. yah so. he also didnt mention the external speaker which is an even bigger change. also the improved wireless 'n'

    It also has a noticeably larger battery, as well as a glass backing.

    ...You don't know if there is a noticeably larger battery on the
    ipod touch 4g. On paper it should be as good as the iphone 4.

    If you look at pictures of dissected units (iPod touch 4th gen on the FCC website), you'll notice that the iPhone 4 battery has a larger volume - as has always been the case with the iPhone and iPod touch.

    yah the differences are so minor now. to a point where the iphone has nothing on the touch. unless u absolutely need it for better stills. and i use my touch a lot. so the battery gets drained pretty fast. if i had an iphone it would be 5 times worse from all the texting and calling. so for me. having the touch along with the phone is just perfect.

    I'm just talking sh*t from my head here, but the iPhone battery will have to be big enough for phone services, EDGE/3G services and GPS (Geolocation multitasking service) and still go for a decent time. Also Wifi etc. but iPod Touch has to take care of that too

    Voice/Data sucks up a lot of power, hence why the iPhone needs more battery.
