iPhone 4 iPhone 4 locked to AT&T?

    I live in Canada and im planning to buy an iPhone in the states and bring it over. Does that mean the phone is locked to AT&T so..i cant use my rogers sim card?

    Pretty much. Although, when either comex or p0sixninja releases their jailbreak VERY VERY soon (like a few days) you'll be able to use the latest ultrasn0w, which will unlock it for you.

    If you take it to a Apple Store or Rogers they might unlock it.

    Actually, you won't be able to do that, according to what this says:
    "The DevTeam and others have been checking through the iPhone 4, and have noticed the baseband runs a completely different OS than on previous models. The iPhone 3G
    and 3G both ran Nucleus OS on the PMB8878
    baseband CPU (aka XGold 608), where the iPhone 2G ran the
    PMB8876 (aka S-Gold 2). iPhone 4 uses the PMB9800, or X-Gold 618 – running a

    Anyway, why would you want to buy an iPhone in the US? Just buy it in Canada, they are unlocked there.
