I have just had an idea for an iPhone 4 exclusive game that takes advantage of the gyroscope. Take Flick Football: http://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/flick-kick-football/id376481969?mt=8 The aim of Flick Football is to shoot a ball into a goal, as you attempt to curl it around defenders. (Look at the screenshots to understand what I mean). You shoot by flicking the ball into the goal. My idea is this: instead of traditional football games, like EA's Fifa game, where the controles are like an Xbox controller with a joystick and buttons, you use the Flick Football idea. Please Register or Log in to view images Here is what I mean: You hold the phone up right in its vertical position, parralell to your face. You are only one person. Not the whole team. To move, you move the phone around you, like you are looking around the pitch. On the right side is a bar and you slide that up to go forward and back to go backwards. A combination of moving the phone and sliding up the screen will make you move in that direction. You can pass to other people by facing them and flicking the ball towards them, and you score by flicking the ball into the goal. To tackle, you shake the device when near someone. Along the bottom is a map of the pitch and where the players are. I hope this makes sense to you. What do you think of it?
