    Can someone explain to me what IS covered?

    They'll cover any hardware defects for free as long as the AppleCare is purchased for and with accidental damage, they'll replace the phone for a lower price than retail price.

    Anything that's not deemed as accidental damage caused by the user. Anything Apple themselves might have created as a problem, is covered.

    Anything that goes wrong with the ipod that isnt your fault is covered, personally i like best buy where they have this plan and another for $70 that covers anything that goes wrong even if its your fault like cracked screens

    If they keep pumping new phones out every year then stick with the one-year limited warranty.

    But what about the year after that before your contract is up and you can get an upgrade?

    Im just saying if ATT keeps allowing the early upgrade like they did.
