OK i have restored my iPhone twice and reinstalled itunes 3 times and restarted my computer countless times

Whenever i do itunes always freezes when i plug my phone in.

It either says verifying my iphone or syncing my iphone and then the bar just continues to spin.

If i manually manage it and itunes doesn't freeze on verifying iphone then i can manually manage music but only drag about 5 songs at a time or else it freezes and it copies the songs very slowly

I do not have any problems like this with my iPod video or my 2G ipod touch

When you get the spinning bar and it says "Verifying iPhone," I'm guessing you unplugged it, quit iTunes, etc.? Let it go. My old iPod did this to me a few times and in one instance I ended up leaving it be for nearly fifteen minutes, but it eventually finished and all was well.

That is probably a problem with your computer, not your iPhone. Try a different computer, USB port and also a different sync cable.
