    i saw this video "iphone torture test" where this guy dropped the phone in a cereal bowl and washed it in the sink and nothing happened to it. i think there is some sort of litmus paper like object in the headphone jack that indicates any sort of water damage. apple's warranty doesnt cover water damage

    A person at AT&T told me that the iPhone 3GS is waterproof but not like scuba diving water proof. However, I still wouldn't risk my iPhone, just be extra thankful when accidents did happen. Also I'm pretty sure that dunking your iPhone in water still voids the warranty...

    Theres no evidence to show that it is an iPhone 3GS in that video, it could be any video recorder really, and it looks staged
