    According to George Hotz (@geohot), the 24kpwn can be used to untether a tethered jailbreak for the iPhone 3GS. Other notes on the web state that ultrasn0w will also work on the 3GS. A 3GS jailbreak isn't far away.

    T-Mobile's the official carrier of the iPhone in Germany (and possibly other countries, but I know Germany for a fact).
