The folks over at iSpazio have managed to find a plist tweak that enables the playing of video in the camera roll.

Basicly it adds video-camera#@ to the end of the "M68AP.plist" which makes the device think it can record video.

    The only downsides are

    1) The tutorial is in Italian
    2) It removes the ability to use the camera app, however ClearCam still works, and so should other camera replacement apps.

    *Download the file: M68AP.plist

1st First extract the files on your desktop that you just downloaded.

Connect to SSH into your device and entered into this path: / System / Library / CoreServices / SpringBoard.app

Make a backup of the original file called "M68AP" VERY IMPORTANT and then replace with M68AP.plist file you just downloaded from iSpazio.

    3. Now insert a video (MOV format) in cameraroll. You can download this for example: IMG_0011.MOV and put it in / var/mobile/Media/DCIM/100APPLE

    4th Respring and open photos.

dont konw but i made a quick command shortcut in terminal to swap the files instantly

    log in as root

    "su"

create a shortcut to run this command

    cd /System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app/; mv M68AP.plist M68AP.temp.plist; mv M68AP.backup.plist M68AP.plist; mv M68AP.temp.plist M68AP.backup.plist

    then run

    killall SpringBoard
