Hey Guys, I have a problem with my iPhone 3GS with 4.0. I restored to 4.0 and am stuck in the activation screen in the iPhone. I am in the "slide for emergency" screen, along with the connect to iTunes screen. If I connect it to iTunes, it says

"There is a problem with your iPhone. We are sorry, but the iPhone you just connected can't seem recognized and the service can't be activated. We recommend that you visit your nearest Apple store to obtain more information."

So, what can I do so that it boots normally? My AT&T sim card is inside, but it doesn't have any plans. It is an "empty" card. I don't know if this is the influence of the problem

Hm. I have a sim card and it isn't activated and it unlocks my phone.
Try quitting iTunes or restart? Weird.
