im a bit noob with all the iphone stuff.
I do have a 3gs iphone with O2,but my operator in my region is not using 3G network, thats why im using only EDGE.
is there any way to get GPS on my iphone? i saw all these apps for 70+ NAVIGON etc. euroes but i really dont know how does it work.

It's not wifi and it should work. I think all you need to make the gps chip work was to have a sim card in because it also uses the cell towers to locate you.

The GPS should work with EDGE, but will perform nowhere near as well as 3G would.

EDGE uses cell tower triangulation, which takes longer to find your location and isn't as accurate as using the actual GPS + 3G. Buying any of those applications wouldn't help since you don't have 3G to begin with.

There are some add-ons you can buy that attaches to the iPhone and has a special, dedicated GPS chip inside of it. That may fix the problem.
