    heey

So I have this HUGE problem, I tried to jailbreak th 3Gs from my sister and everything went well untill I installed SBsetings, the device had to reboot and just stayed stuck on the apple

    - Firmware 3.1.2
    - iPhone 3Gs 32gb
    - 1st Bootrom
    - I pressed the make my life easier button (sHsH files)
    - I can get in DFU
    - I can get in recovery

Now I wasn't able to find ANY solution by myself for rescueing her files and I am not able to downgrade with the hostfile edited in my vista PC (cydia said something like pending with that sHsH File)

Please help me with at least a restore to 3.1.2 with jailbreak

Well go into DFU and restore it.
    Then use blackra1n.

how about using blackra1n to boot it?

isn't that how a tethered jailbreak works?
