    Following my replacement on here

    http://www.ifans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=251807

I went to the apple website to check on my warranty status and keyed in my serial number of my replacement phone. It says I have telephone support till Feb 2 2010 and my hardware warranty expires on November 3 2010 and I'm eligible to buy AppleCare to extend my warranty to 2 years. Is this a mistake that Apple will change or will let it be that way.

Just a little background. Bought my phone on 29 November 2008 and I did not buy AppleCare. So seeing that that extra year warranty is a shock for me.

    Any opinions?

I had always heard that the replacement iPhone would only get the warranty continued from the original purchase.

Regardless, if you got another year warranty that is great.

I have no idea whats going on. On the receipt which you receive by the apple store after you get your phone replaced, it doesn't mention anything about warranty date.

I'm just relying on the apple site

dieselboy27, im curious to know when your warranty ends when you go to the above site.
