Boy Genius' unboxing of the iPhone 3G might not be the first in the world, but it is the first in the US, and damned if it isn't the best, with lots of clear, shiny shots. This is really cool, especially before the release date of the 3G iPhone. I find this quite interesting because we saw something ever so similar in September 2007 when we had the iPod touch unboxing pictures with the iPhone along side to compare the devices.
Apple seems to be in tune with the general population of the United States. (Yes, that was a bit of a stretch .) And as Engadget mentioned, condolences to the Apple/AT&T employee who will lose his/her job over this.
