Hello, I just purchased a 3g iPhone about a month ago, being stupid I forgot the new iPhones comes out the next month.... But anyways do you think Apple will have a trade in plan so I can get like 50/60 bucks back? Or at least a discount? Thanks

well i mean the 3G isnt all of a sudden a piece of crap... its still an iphone. the 3GS doesnt have that many new features to be crazy about. The video recording will be ported to the 3G, aswell as voice control and digital compass ( if it really matters ).

only possible thing that could make me want it is the speed improvement... other than that, nothing, well then theres the fact that when people put the 3GS on sale on craigslist, the 3G will go down in price possibly... i got mine for 380$ so i hope i didnt make a bad investement
All I care about is the Video Recording, and thats being ported over? Do you know the ETA of that? I got my iPhone 3g 16 Gig a month ago for 150$!!
The video recording might get ported over but the camera on the 3GS is much better. To stay on topic, a trade in plan would be doubtful or as bad as that second post shows. Any word yet on how ATT will change their plans? I don't want to pay for MMS as an extra feature!
the video recording won't get ported over until the new device is jailbroken (if it is possible) and even when it does get ported over it will be recording in less fps and not as good quality
I woudlnt know about ATT because i live in Canada, and thats the exchange rate with Rogers and Fido, but since it says those prices in the fine print on the apple site, im sure its with all service providers - but about the video being ported: Why wouldnt it? its already possible through a jailbreak, so im sure someone will work to fill the gap that apple left in the 3G with this update.
