Android 2.0 supports Multitouch. Its just that no apps take advantage of it because of Apple. Also, another thing. I say, just wait for another device that comes along for your carrier that supports Android 2.0. Or get the 3G
Droid 2.0 does indeed have multitouch and will support any multitouch games created for use with Droid. Droid does not have pinch Zoom which is an Apple patent. http://developer.android.com/reference/android/view/MotionEvent.html How does the Droid lose to iPhone by having expandable memory? How does the Droid lose to iPhone because it does not have an Oleographic coat? How does the Droid lose to the iPhone because it is not iTunes compatible? How does the Droid lose to the iPhone because it does not have color choice? The Droid may have less applications than iPhone, but you can be assured that you will find applications on the Droid that you will never see in the app store. Both the Droid 2 and iPhone are great phones. And you can't go wrong with either of them. Do not allow the aesthetics of the iPhone (apple) to sway you from purchasing a possibly better phone or a better product.
Yes. That and a couple HTC Android phones actually have it. The Droid Eris will have it, mainly just because it's a re branded HTC Hero.
jamil, if you want a cool phone, get an iphone. the droid looks like an average touchscreen slider phone that will be eaten by the iPhone.
haha thanks guy's i'll stick with the iphone 3gs becouse i kinda like the os on the ipod touch (and yes i guess that the iphone's os is simmelar to the itouches os xD)
Ah, no it does not. Again, I'll ask... How does the Droid lose to iPhone by having expandable memory? How does the Droid lose to iPhone because it does not have an Oleographic coat? How does the Droid lose to the iPhone because it is not iTunes compatible? How does the Droid lose to the iPhone because it does not have color choice? Besides, that chart doesn't speak about what is really important in a phone. Functionality. What does iPhone do that Droid does not? And vice versa? iPhone is a great phone. However, it is not the best phone nor is it the only choice for 'real' functionality. The Droid does all the iPhone can do. And has over 11,000 APPS available. What functionality is missing?
