I need your help guys, i'm wondering if i should get the Iphone 3G S 32Gb for £538.50 (pay as you go, on O2) or should i wait for the new Ipod Touch.

I will definitely be getting a 32Gb device. I want to know if its likely that the Ipod Touch will be exactly the same as the Iphone 3G S, just without the mobile features, so no 3G internet, SMS, MMS etc etc

Also how much (in Pounds) would the new Ipod Touch 32gb cost approx. ?

    Thanks for your help guys

It's kind of an obvious answer, the iPhone 3G. There is no way in hell Apple will make the new iPod Touch better than the 3G.

If jailbreaking is important for you, get the 3GS and do it before 3.01. Noone knows if it will be possible to jailbreak 3.01+ which will be on the new iPod touch.

Hmmm, you see, im only 15, and saving up alot of money takes time, atm i need to sell my wii and my Ipod touch 1G, if i want an Iphone 3GS 32gb. I would prefer a Iphone but, if say the Ipod touch 3G will cost £300 then i will save £238.50. Is it worth spending that much for 3G internet (which you have to pay for after 12 months) and some mobile features?

I have bought a 3GS yesterday and I honestly would never go back to an iPod Touch. Having an internet connection wherever you go is simply awesome. I have not used the GPS yet except for testing it, but such a thing is really handy when you are in some unfamiliar place. I can finally use VoIP due to the internal microphone and the internal speaker is also much better. And of course the most obvious advantage that you do not have to carry around both an iPod and a cell phone.

It is definitely worth the extra money.
And if you're 15, you can get a job?
