iPhone 3G iphone 3g no network conection on cydia etc

    since this morning i cannot connect to the internet

    -cydia
    -installer
    -safari
    -youtube

    non of the work

    iv restored it and jailbroken it again
    still nothing

    cydia says "Error: netdb
    Error: cached failure"

    then Unable to load
    (timed out)

    2 of my other mates are having the same problem

    anyone no how to fix this?
    or anyone with same problem?

    Please avoid reposting the same thread again. There's probably a reason you didn't get a response the first time around. Try rewording, adding more details or better still search and find an active thread where they are discussing a similar issue.

    With regard to your problem. Is it localised to your router? Have you tried removing any WEP security temporarily and restarting your router. Can you connect from your PC? As I said, probably the reason you may not have received a reply to your previous similar thread is that you haven't put in enough detail and there's already a host of threads and guides of what to try if your internet connection isn't working.

    Wifi, 3G or Edge? Useful information to have.

    If its wifi giving you a problem try resetting your router.

    If its edge or 3G contact your service provider. Maybe they are having network problem?

    There is nothing in Cydia or from a jailbreak that would cause you to loss internet. That I know of anyway.

    ok i checked wifi through mcdonalds today

    and everything worked out fine,

    ill end up calling optus and see what they have to say
