Well, I was up late in the night restoring my phone sunday night, and noticed that I have the very widespread issue of light leak. Am I the only one on this forum that has it? or are there others?

Just in case you don't know what "LIGHT LEAK" is, look at this picture :

There is a rubber gasket in there that is sliding and letting light leak out.

Wow i didnt know that.. is it just on the 3g or all the iphones?
Mine are very small and all 4 corners about a centimeter from the Bottem/Top of the phone.
Also i learned that dirt can get in the crack... I use the edge of a pice of paper to get it out.

you guys must be blind cus i can see the picture perfectly. there are 2 spots where the light leaks out the side. that sucks man, but it cant be that bad. can you notice it during day, or is it just a dark nighttime kinda thing. cus its just when its dark, nothing to cry over

Not to be a noob, but I just got my iPhone 3G today, and was pondering, do I have to activate if I restore to 2.0.1? I've never been thru the activation process since it was done in store.

When you restore, iTunes automatically connects with the servers and re-activates it.
