Earlier this week I bought a pair of Apple headphones with the microphone for the iPhone 2G, 3G and 3GS. (However, I only realised this like 10 minutes ago =P.)

Anyway, when I first plugged them in to my iPod Touch 2G, they worked fine. The mic worked and so did the headphones. (Also, the middle play/pause button worked). However, now, the mic doesn't work. It will only work when plugged into a Mac or iPhone. (both are my brothers).

Will these headphones ever work on my iPod Touch 2G or not?

    EDIT: The headphones > http://a248.e.akamai.net/7/248/2041...icub&op_usm=0.5,0.5,0,0&iccEmbed=0&layer=comp

EDIT 2: I just put them into my iPod again and they worked! Then I unplugged them, plugged them back in and they didn't. They keep doing this like only working in a certain position.

    Hi,

Do they work when your put your iPod to sleep, then plug them in before resuming? (Instead of just plugging them in when your Touch is active?

It seems that the Headphone is not fully compatible, you can check out this with the vendor. Hope it helps.
