I did a little test of my iPhone 3G camera and the iPod 4 camera and here is what I got, the iPod is better in certain lighting (mostly natural, but I did take an unatural lighting picture of a family member and it came out better than my iPhone 3G, although I deleted them both.)

    Of course it does.

How about if you record, isn't there an App in Cydia that lets you record on iPhone 3G?

Then again, you get what you pay for. I was really surprised at the quality of the picture of the car that the 3G took.

well you paid for a contract. If the phone was, say, bought from eBay, then there is a price difference. But Apple could have slightly improved the iPod's camera.
