iphone 3.0 tethering with wifi

    hey im going on a trip thats going to be 6 hours long with two cars so i need a way to instead of using bluetooth use wifi to send data to multiple computers at once so heres what im going to do... first tether your iphone to macbook ( i only know howto do this on macs sorry pc) then the trick to wifi network tethering is to go to system preferances -> shareing and then on the left side it will say, second from the bottom, internet shareing mark it and your good to go just tryed it out at my house and it worked wonderfully. but i dont know how strong the signal from my mac will be if anyone has a good idea how much juce i can get from the wifi output let me know thanks. oh and or if you can do wifi sharing right from iphone too thanks.

    yeah there is a way i cant remember the site but there is a hack you can do that will allow you to get mms and tethering with ATT i cant remember the hack though you should just such search the interent
