iphone 2g?

    hmmm,i've been thinking about a thing,why is the first iPhone called a 2g it's not even the second generation.The iPhone 3G is called that because of the speed(3g)it's not the generation,....it's just kinda weird,lol

    2G = EDGE
    It's perfectly fine to refer to it as iPhone 1G or iPhone EDGE, though, as "iPhone" (no suffix) is its official name.


    iPhone 2G = iPhone 1G = Original iPhone = iPhone EDGE = iPhone
