    Hello,

My iPhone 2G is currently stuck with the "Plug into itunes" logo on the screen.
I can turn it off, and turn it back on but it just goes back to the plug into iTunes screen.

When I put in DFU mode and attempt to restore, it ends up giving me error 28. I have tried to restore multiple times but continue to end up with the same result.

    Things I have tried:
    Ziphone - No Luck
    Tried only on 1 computer.
    With/Without DFU = Same result.

Hoping you guys could help me, Any Help is appreciated.

Try iReb. It is suppose to eliminate various iTunes errors while restoring.

Try this, put in in DFU mode. Now hold the home and power button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. I think it is recovery mode, but have noticed that it works.
